About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef / Prep Chef to join our dynamic team in Erskineville, New South Wales. This temporary, casual role is essential for delivering high-quality breakfast dishes that delight our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and catering, with a focus on creating delicious and visually appealing meals in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must be available to work Saturday – Tuesday breakfast until lunch.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for breakfast service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management to ensure all necessary ingredients are available.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.
