About the Role
As Park Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall success of Kaikōura TOP 10 Holiday Park, leading a small team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while ensuring the park operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, support and develop your team, maintain high presentation standards, and ensure guests leave with a positive and memorable experience. Working closely with the wider business, you’ll help drive performance, maximise occupancy, and contribute to the ongoing success of one of Kaikōura’s leading accommodation providers.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the park, ensuring high standards across all areas of the business
- Coaching, supporting and developing a small team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Managing rosters, staffing levels and operational performance
- Monitoring budgets, costs and business performance to achieve financial targets
- Overseeing maintenance, cleanliness and presentation of the park and facilities
- Building positive guest relationships and resolving issues professionally and promptly
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety, regulatory and company requirements
- Supporting initiatives that drive occupancy, guest satisfaction and business growth
What We’re Looking for
You’ll be a capable and practical leader who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation while empowering others to succeed. You’ll bring strong people skills, commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering great customer experiences.
You’ll bring:
- Experience leading teams in hospitality, tourism, accommodation, holiday park, retail or other customer focused operations environments
- The ability to build positive team culture and hold people accountable for results
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Sound financial acumen and experience managing costs, budgets or business performance
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A proactive, hands on approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when required
- A good understanding of health and safety responsibilities
- A current driver’s licence; First Aid certification would be an advantage
