We are currently seeking a Casual Housekeeper to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Housekeeper to join the team at Canberra Holiday Village.

In this hands-on role, you will play an important part in ensuring our guest accommodation, amenities and shared facilities are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard. Your attention to detail and pride in maintaining a welcoming environment will contribute directly to a positive experience for our guests.

The role includes weekend work and requires availability across a 7-day rotating roster, with shifts and hours varying based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and present guest cabins and accommodation to a high standard
• Clean bathrooms, amenities, camp kitchens and shared facilities
• Make beds and prepare accommodation for arriving guests
• Restock linen, toiletries, cleaning products and guest supplies as required
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal and recreational areas
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored appropriately
• Identify and report maintenance, damage or safety issues to management
• Support the overall cleanliness and presentation of the park
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as required

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience (preferred)
• A positive attitude and willingness to undertake hands-on cleaning duties
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
• The ability to work efficiently and manage your time effectively
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A reasonable level of physical fitness to undertake the requirements of the role
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
• Availability for an immediate start will be highly regarded

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
