We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Park Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines guest service excellence, operational oversight, team leadership, and a commitment to maintaining high standards across all areas of the park.

About the Role

Reporting to the Park Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the park. Working across multiple areas of the business, you’ll help ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth operational delivery, and high standards of presentation, safety, and service.

This role provides leadership and support to team members while coordinating activities across reception, accommodation, housekeeping, grounds, and maintenance functions. In the absence of the Park Manager, you will assume responsibility for the daily management of the park, ensuring business continuity and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the daily management and operation of the holiday park
  • Leading and motivating team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Managing guest enquiries, feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally
  • Assisting with reception operations including bookings, arrivals, departures, and administration
  • Supporting health, safety, compliance, and emergency response processes

What We’re Looking for

You’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in accommodation, tourism, hospitality, holiday park, or related operations
  • Previous experience leading or supervising teams in a customer focused environment
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Experience using booking systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Full New Zealand working rights
