- At least 2 years’ experience in a scheduling/allocator role in building/construction or transport.
- Experience managing transport dispatch/delivery and solving operational issues as they arise.
- Current valid driver’s licence; experience with databases/scheduling software and MS Office (Excel/Word).

THE ROLE
We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Allocator to join our team based at our Dry Creek site. As a Transport Allocator you will be responsible for managing the dispatch/delivery of Transport, problem solving issues as they arise, updating and maintaining our systems, and ensuring that an exceptional service to provide our customers. Our current roster is a 10:00am start Monday to Friday and every third or fourth Saturday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
- Maintain accurate records and entering job information into the relevant databases.
- Scheduling personnel and plant to each job
- Coordinating and communicating job information to the relevant team/crew.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to meet operational KPI’s.
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
- Hold a current & Valid driver’s licence
- Previous experience in a scheduling/allocator position, partnered with a sound understanding of the building, construction industry and Transport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise under time pressures
- Must be flexible, forward- thinking, motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High attention to detail partnered with excellent data entry skills (previous use of scheduling software and MS Office Excel/Word essential).
- Be a team player with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to work autonomously
