THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Jig Operator to join our Truss team. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of Australian Standard trusses, to residential and commercial construction sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on all truss jobs
• Operate machinery such as jigs, rollers, automated saws for our production line in the truss plant
• Safely manufacture trusses in accordance with Australian Standards as per our design teams detailed sheets
• Perform work throughout the day as a team, to ensure safety and productivity are met

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES

• Jig setting experience
• Strong experience with timber/trusses
• Strong understanding of heavy machinery and general hand tools such as hammers/drop saws
• Good communication and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• LF ticket optional
