About the Role:
Located in Mulgrave and reporting to the Manager, Product Planning, this role supports the development, launch and lifecycle management of automotive products, ensuring alignment with market demands and company strategy. This role involves conducting competitive analysis, gathering customer insights, and assisting in product positioning. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of product strategies based on market trends and customer needs.
- Support product lifecycle planning, including feature enhancements and updates.
- Analyse industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor strategies to provide actionable insights.
- Gather and interpret sales data to assess product performance and opportunities.
- Work with sales, marketing, and dealer networks to support product positioning and training.
- Assist in developing product messaging, promotional materials, and sales tools.
- Support the execution of new product launches and go-to-market initiatives.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales performance and market share.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product success.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years in product marketing, or a related field, with at least 2 years in an automotive or OEM environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint, CRM systems (Salesforce), CMS/ web and photoshop. Working knowledge of Jato is advantageous.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools to optimise marketing efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive initiatives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
