The Role: We are looking for a skilled Brake Press Operator who will be responsible for operating our brake press and other sheet metal machinery to produce precision components. You’ll work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the latest Bystronic machines and automation
• Safely set, load and unload materials into the brake press
• Monitor brake press machine to ensure they are running efficiently and make adjustments as needed
• Inspect materials for quality and accuracy
• Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
• High attention to detail and strong willingness to produce high-quality work
• Assisting other areas of manufacturing as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a brake press operator or in a similar position
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Sheetmetal fabrication experience is desirable, not essential
• A current forklift license is preferred but not essential
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently.
