We are currently recruiting for a Yard Hand with a HR licence in Muchea.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be collecting materials and freight, and unloading in our Muchea Yard ready for our Northwest and Southwest trucks as well as general duties in the Yard.

You will need to be physically fit, be committed to enforcing safety standards and requirements, be hard working, reliable & punctual, and be able to work as part of a team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Self-loading & unloading of trucks for deliveries.
• Good rapport with suppliers.
• Keeping the truck clean and in good order.
• Preventative maintenance. 
• Pre-delivery checklist on truck daily.
• Yard duties in case of no deliveries or pick-up schedules.

Skills & Experience

• HR Driver’s licence. 
• Drivers Medical (HOTSHOT Driving). 
• Yardie / Storeman experience. 
• Forklift / Telehandler ticket. 
• White Card.
• Strong safety attitude & awareness.
• Mechanically minded.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
