🕊️ More than a cleaning job

Grace & Gather is looking for an experienced, reliable and detail-oriented Home Assistant to provide high-quality household support to regular clients around Kedron and nearby Brisbane suburbs.

We currently have approximately 16 hours per week available across four weekdays, with the opportunity for hours to increase as we welcome new clients.

We’re looking for someone who can start as soon as possible and is confident working independently in clients’ homes.

🏡 What you’ll do

Every household is different. One visit may focus primarily on cleaning, while another could include laundry, changing beds, meal preparation or helping reset and organise the home.

Your work may include:

• General and detailed home cleaning
• Laundry, folding and putting clothing away
• Changing bed linen
• Simple family meal preparation
• Tidying and household resets
• Fridge, pantry or wardrobe organisation
• Occasional household errands

This isn’t a rushed, high-volume cleaning position. You’ll work with regular clients and have dedicated time to provide thoughtful, consistent and high-quality support.

🌿 Who we’re looking for

For this position, we’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least two years of professional cleaning, housekeeping or similar experience
• Is reliable, punctual and professional
• Has a high standard of cleaning and strong attention to detail
• Is confident working independently and managing their time
• Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done
• Is comfortable helping with a variety of household tasks
• Is physically capable of completing active, repetitive work and spending extended periods on their feet
• Can manage workdays that may span approximately six to seven hours, including client visits, travel and an unpaid meal break
• Is looking for consistent, ongoing employment
• Can commit to the position for at least six months

🚗 Essential requirements

• Reliable vehicle and current driver’s licence
• Willingness and ability to travel between clients
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Valid Australian working rights
• Reliable ongoing weekday availability
• Ability to start as soon as possible

A Blue Card and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check is highly regarded but isn’t essential for every client.
