Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Class Action Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team in Sydney CBD. This permanent, full-time role is pivotal in managing and advancing class action cases, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of legal representation. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our commitment to justice and client advocacy within the legal landscape of Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee class action litigation from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external counsel to ensure effective communication and case management.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in legislation affecting class actions.
  • Mentor and support junior solicitors and legal staff within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in class action or litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
