At Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa, part of Gibbston Valley Wines, we create exceptional guest experiences in the heart of Central Otago just 25 minutes from Queenstown. Our award-winning luxury lodge and spa offer guests rest, rejuvenation, and a deep connection to place.

We are looking for a passionate Spa Therapist (Beauty Therapist) who takes pride in delivering high-quality treatments and genuine care.

About the role:

  • Permanent Full-time – Multiple roles
  • Minimum 30 hours per week on a rotating roster, from Monday to Sunday, inclusive.
  • Location: Gibbston Valley Wines – Otago, Gibbston
  • $28.00 to $33.00 depending on the skills and experience

As a Spa Therapist, you’ll create calm, restorative experiences that leave guests feeling renewed and valued. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a range of massage, beauty, and relaxation treatments
  • Creating a warm, professional, guest-focused environment
  • Supporting daily spa operations (cleanliness, scheduling, stock control, compliance)
  • Promoting spa services, packages, and retail products
  • Providing personalised recommendations to enhance each guest’s visit
  • This role is more than treatments – it’s about creating meaningful moments.

About you:

  • A relevant qualification at NZQCF Level 4 (or international equivalent) or higher or minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a spa environment.
  • A genuine passion for guest care, health, and holistic wellbeing.
  • A calm, professional, and confident manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational ability and precise time management.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Eligibility of work in New Zealand without any restrictions.
