About the role:
- Permanent Full-time – Minimum of 30 hours a week
- Location: Gibbston Valley Wines – Otago, Gibbston
- $27.00 to $28.00 depending on the experience
We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. As Housekeeper, you play a key role in shaping that experience. Your care, attention to detail, and pride in presentation help create spaces where guests feel truly relaxed and at home. This role is more than cleaning – it’s about setting the tone for comfort, quality, and connection from the moment guests arrive. Your responsibilities will include:
- Clean guest villas, restaurant, spa, and public areas to a consistently high standard
- Collect and sort linen for laundering
- Restock guest amenities and supplies per service standard
- Deliver towels or other items to guest rooms upon request
- Perform scheduled deep cleaning tasks (e.g. carpet steaming, spring clean)
- Maintain positive guest interactions and help create a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere
About you:
- Have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience (hotel, lodge, or resort preferred)
- Possess a sharp eye for detail and high cleanliness standards
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working weekends/public holidays
- Demonstrate strong time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English).
- Eligibility of work in New Zealand without any restrictions.
- A reliable method transport since we’re located about 25 mins from Queenstown CBD
