About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity and community inclusion.

No two days are the same. You may be supporting participants at home, assisting with daily living tasks, facilitating community access, preparing meals, supporting personal care, or helping create positive and meaningful experiences during respite stays.

This role includes a mixture of day, evening, weekend, sleepover and public holiday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote participant choice, independence and individual goals.
  • Work collaboratively with families, guardians, support coordinators and allied health professionals.
  • Follow NDIS Practice Standards, organisational policies and safe work practices.

About You

You are someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the importance of treating every person with respect and dignity.

You’ll bring:

  • A positive and participant-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work across a rotating roster.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to inclusion, advocacy and person-centred practice.
  • Confidence supporting people with complex support needs (desirable but not essential).

  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence.
  • National Police Check.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete).
  • Medication Administration experience or willingness to undertake training.

Why Join Us?

  • Make a genuine difference in people’s lives every day.
  • Work within a supportive and values-driven team.
  • Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
  • Salary packaging benefits available.
  • Career progression opportunities as our accommodation services continue to grow.
