We’re looking for an experienced Roaming Casual Optical Dispenser to support our practices across the NSW South region. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, sharing their expertise across multiple locations, and making a genuine difference wherever they go.

As part of the George & Matilda Eyecare network, you’ll provide vital support to practices across the region, helping deliver exceptional patient experiences while ensuring continuity of care during periods of leave, peak trading, and additional operational support.

About the Role

As a Roaming Optical Dispenser, you’ll:

• Support multiple practices across the NSW South region
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle and vision needs
• Deliver expert dispensing advice and tailored optical solutions
• Build strong patient relationships and create exceptional experiences
• Support day-to-day practice operations and workflow
• Work collaboratively with Optometrists and practice teams
• Share your knowledge and experience across different locations

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an Optical Dispenser who brings:

• Previous optical dispensing experience (essential)
• Strong dispensing knowledge and confidence recommending frames, lenses, and optical solutions
• A genuine passion for patient care and customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to quickly adapt to new teams and practice environments
• A proactive, self-motivated, and independent approach to work
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed

Essential Requirements

• Current driver’s licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the NSW South practice network
• Flexibility to work across varying locations and schedules as business needs require
