GAP Industries is looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Technician to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll install, maintain, diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial and industrial sites. We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

We support clients across the Defence, healthcare, government and construction sectors, including factories, commercial warehouses and other specialised facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and resolve HVAC performance issues
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Work across commercial and industrial environments
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety requirements and industry standards
• Provide professional service and communicate clearly with clients
• Complete accurate service reports and record parts and materials used
• Maintain GAP’s safety, quality and presentation standards

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)
• Current Queensland trade licence
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Construction White Card
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Proven experience as a Service HVAC Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration and electrical components
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required

Current CPR, Low Voltage Rescue, Working at Heights and EWP qualifications will be highly regarded.
