GAP Asset Services is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician with data and communications experience to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a reliable tradesperson who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and is confident completing electrical, data, maintenance and service works across a range of client sites.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrical installations, maintenance and repairs
  • Fault-finding and testing
  • Data and communications cabling
  • Fibre Installation, Splicing and Commissioning Experience
  • Installation and termination of data outlets and equipment
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Completing service and minor project works
  • Accurately completing job documentation and service reports
  • Communicating professionally with clients, supervisors and other trades
  • Maintaining GAP’s safety, quality and presentation standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Electrician with a current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Data and communications experience
  • Current cabling registration
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Australian driver’s licence
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Reliable, organised and professional

Experience in commercial maintenance, service work, communications, testing or asset maintenance will be highly regarded.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Working at Heights
  • EWP licence
  • CPR and Low Voltage Rescue
  • Test and Tag qualification
  • First Aid
  • Defence, healthcare or government project experience
