Auckland International Campus (AIC), in partnership with Future Skills and Otago Polytechnic, is a dynamic and progressive tertiary provider located in Auckland CBD.
We are seeking sessional lecturers and assessment markers with tertiary teaching and/or industry experience to contribute to our Master of Applied Management (MAM) programme, starting Block 2, 2026 (20 April 2026).
These are flexible, contract-based roles offering the opportunity to work with diverse postgraduate cohorts and contribute to industry-relevant education.
Roles Available

Sessional Lecturer
- Deliver engaging, applied teaching and support student learning in a postgraduate environment.
Assessment Marker
- Undertake assessment marking and provide high-quality, constructive feedback aligned with academic standards

- Business Intelligence
- Business Analysis
- Information Security
- Management of Information Systems
- Business Solutions Architecture

Key Responsibilities
Sessional Lecturer
- Deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching using innovative and experiential approaches
- Facilitate learning through a blended model (on-campus and online components)
- Contribute to assessment, moderation, and continuous improvement of course delivery
- Engage with students to support academic progress and employability skills
- Collaborate with academic teams to ensure consistency and quality
Assessment Marker
- Mark assessments consistently using established rubrics and academic standards
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to support student learning
- Participate in moderation and calibration processes where required
- Uphold academic integrity and confidentiality
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (Master’s or above)
- Tertiary teaching experience and/or strong relevant industry experience
- Expertise in one or more of the listed subject areas
- Effective communication and ability to engage diverse student cohorts
- Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team
Desirable
- PhD or near completion
- Teaching experience in New Zealand tertiary education
- Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle) and online delivery tools (e.g., MS Teams)
- Understanding of assessment, moderation, and academic quality processes
- Awareness of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its relevance in education
