We are seeking Casual Personal Support Workers for Ferguson Lodge in Lidcombe.
Forward Ability Support is a not-for-profit organisation with 60 years history of providing key services to people with spinal cord injuries or similar related health conditions. We are driven to make a brighter and more positive future for our community by supporting people with spinal cord injuries to live their best life.

About the role
As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including being responsible for:
- Personal care in the form of showering, toileting, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene
- Safe transfers and mobility
- Bladder and bowel care, including insertion of enema
- Domestic assistance by ensuring the home environment is neat and tidy
- Working collaboratively with your team
- Supporting residents with community access activities such as going shopping, navigating public transport, visiting community facilities and more
Important things you should know about the role:
- This is a Casual role
- Must be available Monday to Sunday for day shifts (6am-10am, 6am-2pm, 6:30am-2:30pm 12pm-8pm), afternoon shifts (2pm-10pm) and Night Shifts (8pm-6am)
- SCHADS Award Level 1 pay- Pay Point 1-2 based on experience (Paid above the award rate)
- We’re conducting in-person, face-to-face interviews at Ferguson Lodge.
