About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and community-focused Manager – Central Coast to lead the delivery of football operations across the region.

While this role is based in the Central Coast region, the successful applicant may reside in Rockhampton, Gladstone or surrounding areas, with regular travel required between key regional hubs including Rockhampton, Gladstone, and Biloela.

This role is responsible for overseeing regional football operations, strengthening relationships with clubs and stakeholders, and delivering programs, competitions and initiatives that grow participation and enhance the football experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Football Queensland’s strategic priorities across the region
  • Build strong relationships with clubs, volunteers, stakeholders and local government
  • Oversee the day-to-day football operations, competitions and events
  • Coordinate and deliver regional programs and initiatives
  • Support and grow participation, including women and girls’ initiatives
  • Manage centralised facilities, including operations, staffing, vendors and revenue opportunities
  • Provide guidance, training and support to clubs and committees
  • Assist with sponsorship, partnerships and commercial outcomes
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and efficient administrative delivery

Required:

  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Availability for evening and weekend work

Desirable:

  • Qualifications in Business, Sport Management, or related fields
  • Experience in the football or broader sporting landscape

Additional Information

  • This role requires regular travel within the Central Coast region
  • Occasional intrastate, interstate travel may be required
