About the Role
As a FOCUS Connect Support Worker, you’ll be part of an organisation that genuinely cares — about our people, and the clients, families, and communities we support. You’ll provide practical support and genuine connection to older people in their homes and communities, empowering them to live safely, confidently, and independently.
Your day might include:
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with daily living activities and meal preparation
- Supporting medication reminders and personal care
- Helping with light household tasks
- Accompanying clients to appointments and community activities
Multiple locations to work at including:
Pennant Hills, Turramurra, Pymble, Normanhurst, Hornsby, Ryde
• What You Bring
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience or interest in Aged Care (Cert III preferred)
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with people from all backgrounds
Requirements:
- NSW Driver’s Licence + fully insured vehicle
- Valid First Aid & CPR, National Police Check & WWCC clearance
- Proof of Australian work rights
- Smartphone (for rostering app use)
