THE ROLE

Located at our warehouse in Northgate, the primary purpose of the Storeperson / Hose Assembler is to consistently assemble high-quality hydraulic hose and fittings and ensure all customer orders are prepared accurately, timely replenishing of stock and incoming and outgoing goods are recorded and checked.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and assemble hydraulic hose kits
• Ensure customer stock orders are accurately picked in accordance with order requirements
• Testing hoses using a testing rig
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
• Restock and maintain stock picking bins for either consumable or inventory stock
• Organise and maintain the inventory and storage area
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions.
• Calling and emailing customers when orders are ready for collection

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Hose Assembly experience
• Knowledge of hose and fittings industry
• Experience within a warehouse/stores environment
• Forklift ticket
