Process Worker / Machine Operator – Food Manufacturing

Full-Time, shifts available between the operating hours between 6am-6pm.

Weekend work and overtime opportunities are also available.

Floridia Cheese is a successful Australian family-owned business proudly producing award-winning Italian-style cheeses for over 70 years. With more than 100 employees, we supply quality cheese products to retail, foodservice locally and internationally.

🧀 No cheese-making experience? No worries! Previous food manufacturing experience is an advantage, but training will be provided for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.

About You

• Reliable, punctual, positive, and eager to learn
• Good communication, literacy, and attention to detail.
• Show initiative, ask questions, and look for ways to improve.
• You’re a team player who’s always happy to lend a hand.
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and HACCP requirements.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced wet/cold/warm departments.
• Flexible to work varying hours and overtime as required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or operating machinery is a bonus!

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Follow instructions, communicate effectively
• Liaise and work in all factory departments ensuring total flexibility.
• Operating and monitoring production and packaging machinery.
• Preparing materials and getting equipment ready for production.
• Helping our delicious cheese products make their way through production, packing and labelling.
• Checking products and completing production records.
• Keeping equipment and work areas clean and hygienic, including CIP cleaning where required.
• Following food safety, quality and workplace safety procedures.
• Working alongside a great team to keep production running smoothly.
