Our workshop is where that mission comes to life. Every bike that leaves our doors has been assembled, tuned, and tested to our standard, and we take that seriously. 

We’re looking for an experienced E-Bike Technician to lead our Mascot workshop. This is a hands-on technical role with real ownership; you’ll be the go-to for complex electrical diagnosis, advanced mechanical servicing, and escalated fault resolution, while also working closely with the other technicians and maintaining the standard of everything that leaves the workshop.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose & repair: Resolve complex electrical faults across motors, batteries, displays, wiring, sensors and charging systems using manufacturer diagnostic tools.
• Program & calibrate: Update firmware, configure motor systems, complete calibrations and test rides.
• Service & maintain: Complete e-bike assembly, tyres, hydraulic brakes, drivetrain servicing and general mechanical repairs.
• Solve complex faults: Take ownership of escalated jobs, including integrated electrical/mechanical issues and cargo e-bike systems.
• Support customers: Explain technical issues clearly and provide accurate repair recommendations, estimates and timelines.
• Run the workshop: Manage job priorities, records and SOPs while maintaining a safe, organised workshop.
• Work as a team: Collaborate with the workshop team, support the other technicians and help maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.

What You Bring

Required:

• Advanced knowledge of e-bike electrical systems including motor, BMS, wiring, sensors, and displays
• Proven experience servicing city, commuter, and cargo e-bikes at a professional level
• Full mechanical competency across assembly, brakes, drivetrain, and wheels
• Strong fault diagnosis methodology across both mechanical and electrical systems
• Good level of written and spoken English for customer consultations and service documentation
• Comfortable using digital workshop management tools

Advantageous:

• Formal electrical or electronics trade qualification
• Familiarity with Bafang motor systems
• Experience in a retail workshop or customer-facing technical role
• Knowledge of battery safety standards and handling procedures
