Our Maintenance team is expanding in 2026

We are seeking enthusiastic & experienced general maintenance to join the team, to assist with Island based projects.

We have 1 Commuting position available

Job Description:

Working in various areas around the Resort, managing specific projects and performing general maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities include:

Carry out scheduled maintenance as per the Resort Maintenance plan.

Carry out repairs to buildings and facilities including but not limited to Hotel and office areas.

Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks associated with the Island’s assets.

Maintain all equipment and tools in good order.

Report any maintenance issues to Management.

Ensure grounds are kept tidy including but not limited to removal and placement of rubbish/recycling materials in appropriate areas.

Other duties as required by Management.

You have exceptional time management skills and are able to prioritise tasks to ensure efficiency and profitability.

You display professionalism at all times, especially when under pressure and mitigate any negativity.

Take direction from management, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Health and safety conscious with an eye for detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative nature.

An all rounder that is capable of working on a variety of tasks.

Skills and experience:

Experience that are industry specific to the building and construction industry.

Manual Driver’s license.

Desirable:

Work safely at heights certificate.

First aid certificate.

Mandatory:

Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver’s License.
