As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, Fitness Passport is executing an ambitious strategy while keeping our member experience a top priority.

The Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on, mid-level product designer (UX and UI) to help the Employers squad ship its roadmap over the next six months. Most of your time will go into turning problems into clear flows and screens that engineers can build. You’ll also help the squad learn from customers and keep stakeholders across the business in the loop.

We’d love someone who takes real pride in craft, thinks beyond the immediate brief, and owns the experience all the way through to what customers actually use.

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months with scope to extend beyond that. We have offices in both Sydney and Melbourne and open to candidates in both locations.

What you’ll do:

• Design flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI for roadmap features, working within our existing design system.
• Give engineers what they need (states, edge cases, error handling, copy, responsive behaviour), then stay close to the build and review work before it ships.
• Contribute to discovery by co-running customer sessions with employers, running quick prototype tests and interviews, and mapping customer journeys.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support and other squads, sharing work early and explaining design decisions in plain language.
• Partner with the PM, engineers and the Data team to slice work into shippable increments and check after release whether changes did their job. 

About You:

• A passion for fitness and wellbeing.
• Around 3+ years designing digital products, with shipped web product work in your portfolio.
• Strong UI craft (layout, hierarchy, accessibility, component thinking) and confidence in Figma.
• A portfolio that shows how you worked with PMs and engineers, not just the final screens.
• Comfortable running a customer session and summarising what you learned.
• A clear, friendly communicator and a pragmatic designer: you pick the right fidelity, ship, learn and adjust.
• A curious product mindset and a willingness to own design beyond handover.
