Fire Detection Technician / Electrician

We require an experienced fire detection system technician for Essential Fire Service Installations and Repairs on a full-time basis.

Fire Service Plus is a locally family owned business with a backlog of fire detection installs, upgrades & repairs on the books that require a skilled individual to carry out.

• Experience in Fire Detection Systems/Vesda installation/programming/fault finding
• Proficient understanding of the Australian Standards (AS 1670.1 & AS 1851-2012)
• To be willing to work hard and be part of a successful team
• To be able to work autonomously
• To be able to communicate and liaise with customers and fellow employees in a professional manner
• To be able to stay away overnight as required
• To be able to travel our large portfolio on a daily basis

• To hold a current:

1. Cabling Licence
2. NSW Drivers Licence
3. EWP/Working at Heights Licence
4. Construction/ White Card
5. Police Criminal Check
6. Working With Chldren Check
7. Electrical Licence (Highly Regarded but not essential)

A fully equipped and maintained company vehicle is provided as well as uniforms & phone for company use.

Must reside in the Illawarra Region, travel will be required within the role.
