Finsbury Green is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Chief Operating Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in our next chapter.

Based at our brand-new Beverley facility in Adelaide, this is a unique, executive opportunity leading the operational and financial performance of an established, privately owned Australian business operating across South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

The role

Reporting to the CEO, providing both strategic leadership and operational direction, you will:

• Lead our manufacturing, warehousing, fulfilment and logistics operations.
• Lead our Finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, working capital and financial discipline.
• Own performance across cost, productivity, service, quality and risk.
• Translate commercial demand into clear, executable operating plans.
• Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, systems and assets.
• Deliver major operational, technology and capital projects with measurable outcomes.
• Develop capable leaders and a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to business strategy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
• Partner closely with the CEO and Executive Chair on performance, investment and future direction.

About you

You are a senior leader who thrives on leading people, running complex operations and turning strategy into results.

You may already be a COO or senior manufacturing/operations executive.

Alternatively, you may be an CFO or senior finance executive with significant manufacturing and operational exposure ready to broaden your career into operational leadership.

You will bring:

• Senior leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial and commercial capability.
• Experience leading complex, ideally multi-site, operations.
• A track record of improving productivity, profitability and operational performance.
• Experience leading transformation, continuous improvement and/or major capital or technology projects.
• Strong judgement, integrity and accountability.
• A practical, hands-on approach, with the ability to move comfortably between the factory floor and the executive table.
• The confidence to challenge, make decisions and follow through.
