Eurofurn is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Installers, Finishing Carpenters and an Onsite Lead Installer to join our Mackay team.

With a solid 6-month project on one site, this is an opportunity to secure consistent work without constantly moving from site to site. We’re looking for people who know their trade, take pride in their work and want to be part of delivering high-quality commercial joinery and fit-outs.

Contract and casual positions are available, with rates based on experience and skill level.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll be working on a major commercial project, installing high-quality bespoke joinery, furniture and fit-out items manufactured by our Brisbane workshop.

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in:

• Installing custom joinery, furniture and upholstered items
• Finishing carpentry and detailed onsite finishing works
• Reading and accurately interpreting shop drawings
• Working through site instructions and coordinating with other trades
• Setting out, scribing, adjusting and achieving a quality finished result
• Working closely with our Project Managers and site team
• Maintaining a clean, safe and professional work area
• Identifying and resolving onsite issues before they become defects
• Completing works to a high standard and assisting with project handover

ONSITE LEAD INSTALLER

We are also looking for an experienced Onsite Lead Installer who can take ownership of the day-to-day installation team and help drive the project forward.

You’ll be someone who can lead by example, coordinate installers and trade assistants, communicate confidently with the Project Manager and Site Foreman, and keep the team moving while maintaining Eurofurn’s standards for quality, safety and presentation.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re interested in people with experience in:

• Cabinetmaking, joinery installation, furniture installation or finishing carpentry
• Commercial fit-outs, hospitality or high-end residential projects
• Reading and working from detailed shop drawings
• Scribing, fitting, adjusting and finishing to a high standard
• Working independently while also being a strong team player

You’ll ideally have:

• A strong eye for detail and genuine pride in your workmanship
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work to deadlines and follow through on commitments
• A professional approach to clients, builders and other trades
• Your own vehicle and relevant tools
• Valid Driver’s Licence and White Card
• EWP and/or Forklift tickets are advantageous
