Are you an Accounts Payable professional who takes pride in getting every invoice right and enjoys keeping suppliers paid accurately and on time?

If so, we’d love to meet you. Join Eureka Group as our Accounts Payable Specialist and help us keep our payments accurate, our suppliers happy and our communities thriving.

Why Eureka?

At Eureka Villages, our purpose is to provide comfortable, accessible and authentic places for living that foster stability and a sense of connection. We’re redefining community living in Australia by delivering reliable and dignified housing at scale, and we bring that same care and sense of belonging to how we work together.

As our organisation grows, we’re investing in our Group Finance team so that our processes, systems and controls keep pace with the business. It’s an exciting time to join us.

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll work closely with our Finance team and Property and Operations teams. You’ll also work with our suppliers, external auditors and banking partners.

Our values guide everything we do: we Put People First, Embrace the Challenge, Commit and Follow Up, Act with Purpose and Build Belonging. You’ll be part of a team that values accountability, accuracy and continuous improvement.

What’s the role?

You’ll be responsible for the accurate, timely and controlled processing of supplier invoices and payments across the Group. You’ll be a trusted contact for suppliers and internal teams, helping keep our financial controls strong and our supplier relationships positive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end invoice process, from intake and coding to GL accounts, cost centres and entities through to approval in line with our Delegation of Authority
  • Applying correct GST treatment and tax coding in line with ATO requirements
  • Preparing and processing weekly and ad hoc payment runs, urgent payment requests and intercompany transfers
  • Reconciling supplier statements weekly and completing corporate credit card reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end close, including invoice cut-off, accrual identification and aged creditor reporting
  • Resolving supplier and stakeholder queries promptly and professionally
  • Assisting with internal and external audit requests and keeping AP documentation audit-ready
  • Recommending process improvements, documenting AP procedures and supporting system enhancements

What’s in it for you?

At Eureka, our people are our greatest asset, and we want you to enjoy coming to work. You’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible hybrid working. Three days in the office, two from home. You choose your home days.
  • Real ownership. You’ll manage the AP process, with a friendly team there to support you.
  • Room to grow. You’ll gain broad experience across multi-entity accounts payable, GST, month-end and audit, all in a listed-company setting.
  • A team that connects. We get together for lunch every month. And the snacks are great too!

What’s it like working for Eureka?

No two days are quite the same. One day you might be working through a high volume of invoices, getting them coded and approved. The next, you could be preparing the weekly payment run, reconciling a supplier statement, helping with an audit request or finding a smarter way to reduce manual handling.

Here, you’re more than someone who processes invoices. You’ll be trusted, supported and encouraged to grow.

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for someone with solid accounts payable experience, a great eye for detail and a genuine willingness to learn and contribute. You’ll ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume accounts payable processing, ideally within a multi-entity environment
  • A strong understanding of GST treatment and invoice coding controls
  • The ability to manage high transaction volumes while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience with MYOB or a similar ERP system
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to build positive supplier and stakeholder relationships

It would be a bonus if you also have a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting, experience in property or multi-site operational environments, or exposure to audits and structured governance settings. If you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you.
