About the role
Ready to turn passion into connection? We’re
looking for Membership Sales Officers to join our Consumer team on a fixed-term
basis until April 2027. Based at The NEC Hangar at Melbourne Airport and
reporting to the Membership Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in growing
and retaining our passionate member base through proactive, targeted and
friendly phone-based communication.
This is a
fast-paced, KPI-driven sales role where every conversion counts. With a
sales-first mindset, you’ll be driving high volume outbound sales campaigns to
renew, upgrade and acquire new members into the red and black family.
You’ll be the first point of contact for members
and supporters, helping with inbound enquiries across phone, email, and
face-to-face channels, with exceptional customer service, accurate data
handling and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for our
supporters.
About you
You’re a confident
communicator who enjoys building rapport quickly, asking great questions and
turning conversations into positive outcomes. You may come from sales,
retention, customer service, call centre, sport, membership, ticketing or
another fast-paced service environment — what matters most is your energy,
resilience and commitment to doing great work.
You’ll bring
experience meeting targets, managing high-volume enquiries or calls, and using
systems such as CRM platforms, Outlook, Word and Excel. You’re reliable,
organised and accountable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and
keep member experience at the centre of what you do.
Experience in a
sporting or member-based organisation, outbound sales, ticketing or Archtics
would be a bonus, but it’s not essential.
