NSW Consulting • Chatswood, New South Wales 2067, Australia • Full-time

Description

New Roles, New Opportunities, New Alignment

EESI has recently realigned our NSW leadership to strengthen two key areas of our business: consulting and auditing. This refreshed structure reflects our long-term commitment to technical excellence, client service and internal growth.

With this new direction comes new opportunities—and we’re now looking for senior consultants ready to grow with us.

Trusted Scientific Leadership

Environmental Earth Sciences International (EESI) was founded by leading geologists, hydrogeologists and soil scientists to deliver deep, defensible technical solutions for complex site conditions. We remain grounded in research, precision and environmental responsibility.

Building trust through delivery

We understand the best way to win and retain work is through consistent delivery of quality, clarity and responsiveness. Our consultants are trusted by clients because they bring solutions—not just reports—to the table.

This Sydney-based role is ideal for a technically strong senior consultant with 6–8 years of experience in contaminated site assessment and remediation. You’ll deliver complex projects under NSW regulatory frameworks, support junior consultants, and contribute to ongoing proposal and business development efforts.

  • Develop proposals, budgets and scopes of work
  • Act as client contact on allocated projects
  • Ensure compliance with NSW environmental regulations and national guidelines
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and QA review of junior inputs
  • Support business development activities through high-quality project delivery

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BSc/BE in environmental science, earth science or related discipline (honours or postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
  • 6–8 years’ experience in environmental consulting with project management responsibility
  • Advanced knowledge of NEPM and NSW contaminated land frameworks
  • Proven experience delivering complex remediation and audit-support projects
  • Strong track record in proposal development and client communication
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships
  • High-level report writing and quality assurance skills

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Learning opportunities with highly respected technical experts, including 4 EPA site auditors
  • Structured career advancement pathway with clear progression opportunities
  • Exceptional opportunities for professional growth
  • Fun but hardworking team culture
