This role
Our Customer Experience teams are responsible for delivering the Employment Hero HR and Payroll onboarding experience for our customers. Platform Configuration Specialists work as part of a cross-functional onboarding team to drive successful outcomes for customers and partners throughout their onboarding journey.
This role is responsible for gathering customer requirements, configuring the Employment Hero HR and Payroll platform, and ensuring the platform is accurately configured to meet customer requirements and agreed outcomes.
You will work closely with Onboarding Consultants to deliver successful onboarding outcomes for our customers.
Day-to-day, this role supports our internal teams on all aspects of platform configuration. Your primary focus is to ensure accurate and timely system configuration, maintain data quality, identify and resolve configuration issues, and complete administration across Salesforce and other project management systems. You will communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of customer onboardings.

Your key focus areas will be:
- Support the end-to-end onboarding experience by performing platform configuration, validating system configuration, analysing configuration issues, and delivering appropriate resolutions and action plans.
- Lead the platform configuration activities throughout customer onboardings, following Employment Hero best practice.
- Ensure customer requirements are captured accurately and translated into platform configuration.
- Assist with troubleshooting customer queries and coordinate with internal teams to support successful onboarding outcomes.
- Ensure onboarding tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Complete administrative activities, including Salesforce updates, data validation, project updates and other ad hoc requests.
- Ensure the quality, integrity and security of customer data.
- Investigate and resolve customer onboarding challenges through thorough testing and validation.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvements that support platform configuration and onboarding delivery.
- Meet and exceed KPIs while following all Employment Hero policies, procedures and standard operating processes.
Who you are

For this role, you’ll also bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in UK payroll onboarding, payroll consulting, payroll administration or a SaaS platform configuration environment.
- 3+ years’ experience in HR onboarding, HR consulting, HR administration or a SaaS platform configuration environment.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management.
- Experience processing, validating and reviewing large data sets.
- Experience administering an HR Information System (HRIS) and/or payroll system.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
