Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team in North Sydney. As a vital part of our hospitality and catering service, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages to customers, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain and oversee the coffee machine settings and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in training new staff members on coffee preparation techniques and customer service best practices.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a positive and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proven barista experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in front of house roles, providing excellent customer service
• Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
