Eliot Sinclair is growing and we are seeking Land Surveyors, Graduate Surveyors and Survey Technicians to join our teams across the South Island.
We have roles available in our Christchurch, Hokitika, Nelson and Queenstown offices, and we are open to candidates at all stages of their careers, from recent graduates through to experienced surveyors or technicians.
Eliot Sinclair is a multidisciplinary consultancy with offices throughout the South Island. The Opportunity
These roles offer exposure to a broad range of land development and infrastructure projects. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, with responsibilities aligned to your skills and level of experience.
You will work alongside experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyors and be supported by our wider South Island surveying network, with strong mentoring and technical guidance available.
For candidates relocating, relocation assistance may be available. In Queenstown, we can also provide temporary accommodation in our company apartment above the office while you secure longer-term housing.
The Role
- Deliver surveying services across land development and infrastructure projects
- Undertake topographical, setting out, UAV, cadastral, hydrographic and 3D laser scanning surveys
- Collaborate with surveyors, planners and engineers across our South Island offices
- Manage projects appropriate to your experience, with technical support and review
- Participate in mentoring and professional development, including licensing support where applicable
What We’re Looking For
- A qualification in surveying or relevant industry experience
- Interest in land development and infrastructure projects
- Sound communication skills and professional judgement
- A practical, considered approach to problem-solving
- Experience with 12d Model is an advantage, with training available
- You must be currently living in New Zealand and legally entitled to work here
