Description

Elecnor is seeking an Asset Engineer to join our Engineering team in the Brisbane office. This role supports the management and optimisation of physical assets across renewable energy projects (Solar), ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to asset management strategies, maintenance planning, and performance monitoring to maximise asset lifecycle value and minimise risk.

You will support key activities including inspections, data analysis, maintenance coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives, while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to large-scale renewable energy assets and is suited to an engineer with experience or interest in asset management and performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

● Support asset management planning, maintenance strategies, and performance monitoring

● Assist with inspections, risk identification, and improvement initiatives

● Analyse asset data and support reliability and predictive maintenance activities

● Track maintenance schedules and coordinate with internal teams and contractors

● Support compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards

● Contribute to continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives

● Prepare reports and provide general engineering support

Qualifications and Experience:

● Degree in Engineering or related field

● Australian work rights and driver’s licence

● Exposure to asset management or maintenance planning

● Understanding of procurement processes (desirable)

● Microsoft Office proficiency and awareness of safety standards

Skills and Abilities:

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

● Ability to interpret data and communicate clearly

● Good time management and prioritisation

● Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused
