Summary:

As a Sales Development Representative in the IT industry, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. Based in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, this permanent full-time position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to the expansion of our customer base and the overall success of the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Engage with prospects via phone calls, emails, and social media to generate interest in our IT solutions.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their needs and determining their fit for our products and services.
  • Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified leads to facilitate the sales process.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and strategies.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help shape product offerings.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and appointment setting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
