Summary:

As the Head Barista at our Sydney office, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our workplace culture by providing exceptional coffee experiences for our employees and clients. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment within the accountancy industry. Your expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that fosters collaboration and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to staff and clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas.
• Manage inventory of coffee supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering.
• Train and mentor junior baristas and staff on coffee preparation techniques.
• Engage with employees to understand their preferences and enhance their coffee experience.
• Implement and uphold health and safety standards in the coffee preparation area.
• Assist in organising coffee-related events and promotions within the office.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a barista role or similar customer service position is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment is advantageous.
• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow in the role.
