Description

Employment Hero — Global Head of Content, Publishing & Movement Marketing

About Employment Hero

At Employment Hero, our mission is simple but ambitious: to make employment easier and more valuable for everyone, everywhere in the world.

We believe that work should be more than a transactional relationship between an employer and an employee. The way people find jobs, get hired, manage their employment, receive their pay, access benefits, develop their careers, and connect with their organisations is changing rapidly. Employment Hero exists to make that entire experience simpler, smarter, more accessible, and more valuable for businesses and people alike.

Our Employment Operating System brings together the essential elements of employment into one connected platform. From hiring and onboarding to human resources, payroll, employee benefits, compliance, and workforce management, our technology helps businesses manage the employment lifecycle in one place.

Since our launch in 2014, Employment Hero has evolved from an ambitious startup into one of the world’s fastest-growing employment technology companies. What began as a vision to simplify employment for small and medium-sized businesses has grown into a global technology platform serving hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of employees.

Today, Employment Hero supports more than 350,000 SMEs and helps pay more than 3 million employees through our platform. We have established a presence across six countries and continue to expand our reach, capabilities, and influence globally.

Our growth has also reflected the scale of the opportunity ahead. Employment Hero has reached a valuation of more than $2 billion, demonstrating the strength of our business, the importance of the problem we are solving, and the growing demand for technology that can transform the way employment works.

But our ambition goes far beyond becoming a successful technology company.

We want to help define the future of employment.

The world of work is undergoing one of the most significant transformations in generations. Artificial intelligence, automation, changing employee expectations, demographic shifts, new approaches to workplace flexibility, and increasingly global workforces are fundamentally reshaping how organisations operate and how people build careers.

Employment Hero sits at the intersection of these changes.

We have access to extensive first-party employment data, a rapidly growing global customer base, deep product expertise, and a unique perspective on how businesses and employees are adapting to the changing world of work.

Our opportunity is not simply to participate in the conversation.

Our opportunity is to lead it.

The EH Way

At Employment Hero, our culture is defined by a distinctive set of principles that we call The EH Way.

The EH Way is not a collection of statements that exist only on a website or in an employee handbook. It represents how we make decisions, how we prioritise our work, how we collaborate, how we respond to change, and ultimately how we create impact.

We believe that exceptional results come from people who are aligned around a clear mission, empowered to make decisions, comfortable with change, and committed to achieving a very high standard.

We Are Mission First

Our mission is the starting point for everything we do.

It influences the products we build, the markets we enter, the investments we make, the customers we serve, and the opportunities we pursue.

When faced with competing priorities, we return to one fundamental question:

Does this accelerate our Mission?

This principle enables us to remain focused even as the organisation grows. We do not pursue activity simply because it is possible. We focus our energy on the things that can create meaningful progress.

For this role, being Mission First means understanding that content, publishing, communications, and marketing are not ends in themselves.

The goal is not to produce more content.

The goal is to create influence.

The goal is to shape conversations.

The goal is to establish Employment Hero as an authority on AI, employment, and the future of work.

Every article, social post, video, podcast, campaign, product story, and founder communication should contribute to that larger objective.

We Are Remote First

Employment Hero is proudly remote first.

We believe great people can do exceptional work regardless of where they are physically located. Our operating model is designed around trust, autonomy, accountability, and outcomes rather than traditional office-based structures.

We place a strong emphasis on asynchronous communication, allowing people to work effectively across different locations and time zones without creating unnecessary meetings or dependencies.

Remote-first does not mean disconnected.

It means intentional.

We expect people to communicate clearly, document decisions, take ownership, and create the conditions that allow others to do their best work.

For a global content and publishing function, this operating model is particularly important. The role will work across markets, teams, time zones, and disciplines, requiring strong organisational skills, clear communication, and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving without relying on constant synchronous coordination.

We Are AI First

Artificial intelligence is not simply another technology that we use at Employment Hero.

It is becoming a fundamental part of how we operate, innovate, create, and scale.

We believe AI can dramatically increase the speed at which organisations can transform ideas into outcomes. It can help teams move faster, identify opportunities earlier, make better decisions, automate repetitive work, and unlock new forms of creativity.

Our ambition is to use AI to accelerate our mission.

For this role, that means being comfortable operating at the frontier of AI-enabled content, publishing, marketing, research, production, and distribution.

We expect our leaders to explore how AI can improve the entire content lifecycle — from identifying emerging conversations and analysing data to developing ideas, creating content, repurposing assets, accelerating production, and measuring impact.

AI should not replace creativity, judgment, or human storytelling.

It should amplify them.

We Live by Our Values

Our values matter because they shape the way we behave when nobody is watching.

We expect every person at Employment Hero to role-model our values consistently, whether they are interacting with customers, colleagues, partners, candidates, or the broader community.

We believe culture is created through everyday actions.

That means taking ownership, communicating openly, challenging assumptions, acting with integrity, and holding ourselves and one another to a high standard.

We Expect High Performance

We are building a company with global ambitions, and that requires a high-performance mindset.

We do not believe in being average.

High performance at Employment Hero is not about working unnecessarily long hours or creating pressure for its own sake. It is about clarity, accountability, speed, quality, and measurable impact.

We set ambitious goals.

We move quickly.

We learn from what does not work.

We take responsibility for outcomes.

And we continuously look for ways to raise the standard.

About the Role

Employment Hero already has something many organisations spend years trying to build: a founder and CEO with a powerful point of view, a compelling narrative, and the opportunity to become a leading authority on how artificial intelligence is transforming employment.

This role exists to build the machine around that opportunity.

Our CEO is increasingly positioned to become one of the leading voices in the global conversation about AI, employment, productivity, workforce transformation, and the future of work.

He has access to perspectives and proprietary employment data that can provide a distinctive view of what is actually happening in workplaces around the world.

The opportunity is to turn that expertise, insight, data, and point of view into an exceptionally consistent and high-profile publishing operation.

This means making the CEO’s voice impossible to ignore.

It means establishing a publishing rhythm across the channels where important conversations are happening.

It means using X and LinkedIn as primary platforms, supported by video, podcasts, editorial content, and the Employment Hero newsroom.

It means identifying the ideas that matter before they become mainstream, developing strong points of view, and publishing them with the speed and confidence required to shape the conversation rather than react to it.

Most importantly, this is not a traditional content support role.

This is a senior marketing leadership position.

You will sit at the centre of Employment Hero’s global marketing ecosystem and play a critical role in defining how the company is perceived externally.

You will own the systems, people, processes, editorial standards, publishing cadence, and strategic direction required to establish Employment Hero as a global authority.

Your focus will not simply be on how much content gets published.

Your focus will be on whether the market is listening.

Whether our ideas are being discussed.

Whether our narrative is travelling.

Whether our CEO is becoming a recognised authority.

Whether Employment Hero is shaping the conversation around AI and employment.

Whether our voice is influencing the category.

The ultimate measure is share of voice, narrative penetration, and influence — not content volume.

Your Mission in This Role

Your mission will be to transform Employment Hero’s content and publishing capability into a high-performance global media operation.

You will build an engine that can take an idea, insight, product development, data point, market trend, customer story, or executive perspective and rapidly transform it into compelling content that reaches the right audience through the right channel.

You will combine strategic thinking with production discipline.

You will understand the broader narrative while also being comfortable operating close to the details.

You will need to think like a marketer, editor, publisher, producer, strategist, storyteller, and operator.

You will also need to understand that modern marketing is increasingly about earning attention rather than buying it.

The strongest brands are not simply promoting themselves.

They are creating ideas that people want to discuss, share, debate, reference, and remember.

That is the opportunity in front of us.

Key Focus Areas

1. Build a Global Founder Publishing Operation

The most important responsibility of this role will be to build and operate a world-class publishing system around the CEO.

The objective is to establish the CEO as an unmistakable and highly credible voice on AI, employment, technology, productivity, leadership, and the future of work.

You will develop a consistent publishing cadence across X, LinkedIn, video, podcasts, and other relevant formats.

This will require more than ghostwriting.

You will need to understand the CEO’s worldview, identify the ideas that deserve amplification, develop distinctive points of view, and build a system that allows those ideas to move rapidly from concept to publication.

The CEO should not need to wonder what he should publish, when he should publish it, or how an idea should be developed.

You will create the machine that makes this process seamless.

You will establish editorial rhythms, content calendars, approval processes, production workflows, and distribution systems that allow the CEO to consistently participate in important conversations.

The ambition is for his voice to become unmissable.

When people think about AI and the future of employment, we want them to encounter Employment Hero’s perspective.

When a major development occurs in AI or the labour market, we want to have a point of view.

When new employment data reveals an important trend, we want to explain what it means.

When the market is debating the impact of AI on jobs, productivity, workers, or businesses, we want to be part of — and ideally ahead of — that conversation.

This publishing operation will be the core engine of the role.

2. Own and Scale the Employment Hero Content Engine

Alongside the founder publishing operation, you will own the broader Employment Hero content ecosystem.

This includes our newsroom, video content, podcasting, editorial programming, and related owned media channels.

The objective is to move away from a content model that depends primarily on occasional, heavily planned campaigns.

Instead, we want to build a near-daily publishing operation capable of responding quickly to what is happening in the market.

Our content should be timely.

It should be useful.

It should be distinctive.

It should be grounded in evidence.

And it should be easy for people to share.

The newsroom should become a place where Employment Hero can rapidly publish insights about employment, workforce trends, AI, business, technology, and the future of work.

Video and podcasts should extend those ideas into formats that can reach different audiences and create deeper engagement.

The different channels should not operate as disconnected content silos.

They should work together as one integrated publishing ecosystem.

One idea may begin as a CEO post.

It may then become a longer editorial piece.

That editorial may inform a video.

The video may become a podcast discussion.

The podcast may generate additional social content.

The original data point may become part of a larger campaign.

This approach allows us to extract significantly more value from every meaningful idea while maintaining a consistent narrative across channels.

3. Turn Product Releases and Proprietary Data into Moments

Employment Hero has two significant sources of competitive advantage for storytelling: our product and our data.

We are constantly building and launching new capabilities.

At the same time, our platform generates valuable first-party employment insights across a large and growing customer and employee base.

The role will be responsible for turning these assets into stories that matter.

A product release should not simply become a product announcement.

A feature should not only be described through a list of capabilities.

The challenge is to understand what the release means.

What problem does it solve?

What does it reveal about how work is changing?

What does it tell us about employers?

What does it tell us about employees?

What broader trend does it represent?

How can we connect the product to a larger conversation?

The same principle applies to data.

A statistic on its own is not necessarily a story.

The opportunity is to identify the insight behind the data and turn it into a compelling point of view.

Our first-party data should help Employment Hero say things that others cannot say.

It should provide evidence for our narrative.

It should allow us to challenge assumptions.

It should enable us to identify emerging trends before they become obvious.

It should give journalists, executives, policymakers, business leaders, employees, and creators a reason to pay attention.

The successful candidate will build a system that consistently converts data and product activity into publishable moments.

4. Lead Movement Marketing

Traditional campaigns often begin with a defined message and attempt to distribute it to an audience.

Movement marketing is different.

It is about creating an idea that people want to participate in.

The objective is to build genuine groundswell around a narrative and create momentum that extends beyond paid media or traditional corporate communications.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development and execution of Employment Hero’s movement marketing initiatives.

You will identify the ideas that have the potential to become movements.

You will develop the narrative.

You will determine how that narrative should be expressed across channels.

You will coordinate content, social, communications, creative, leadership, and regional teams.

You will create mechanisms for people outside Employment Hero to participate, share, debate, and amplify the idea.

You will work closely with the Global Head of External Affairs and regional communications teams to ensure global narratives can be adapted appropriately for local markets.

The goal is not simply to launch campaigns.

The goal is to create momentum.

We want people to talk about the issue.

We want others to reference the data.

We want the conversation to continue after the campaign has technically ended.

We want Employment Hero to become associated with the idea itself.

5. Build Production Rigour and Lead the Team

A strong strategy is only valuable if the organisation can execute it consistently.

This role will therefore require significant production and operational leadership.

You will lead teams responsible for newsroom content, social publishing, video, podcasting, and broader content production.

These teams need to operate from a shared editorial and strategic brief.

Rather than creating separate content agendas for different channels, you will establish a connected operating model in which every team understands the overarching narrative and priorities.

You will create clarity around:

  • What we are trying to say
  • Why we are saying it
  • Who needs to hear it
  • Which channel is most appropriate
  • How quickly it needs to be produced
  • Who owns each stage of production
  • What the final quality standard should be
  • How the content will be distributed
  • How performance will be measured
  • How insights from performance will inform the next piece of content

You will manage timelines, priorities, resources, approvals, production dependencies, and competing demands.

The pace will be high.

The number of moving pieces will be significant.

The successful candidate will bring the operational discipline necessary to maintain quality while increasing speed.

You will also create an environment where talented people can do their best work.

That means setting clear expectations, providing strong briefs, removing blockers, giving useful feedback, and creating accountability without unnecessary bureaucracy.

6. Own Narrative Penetration and Share of Voice

The success of this function will not be measured primarily through the number of articles published, videos produced, or social posts created.

Output is an input.

Influence is the outcome.

You will work closely with Communications and External Affairs to define and measure the extent to which Employment Hero’s narrative is penetrating the market.

You will establish a clear framework for understanding:

  • Share of voice
  • Narrative penetration
  • Brand authority
  • Founder visibility
  • Audience engagement
  • Content reach
  • Earned amplification
  • Social conversation
  • Media and creator adoption
  • Market association with key topics
  • Performance of major narrative initiatives

The objective is to understand whether Employment Hero is becoming part of the conversation — and whether our ideas are changing the conversation.

You will be expected to use data to identify what is working, what is not working, and where opportunities exist.

This means being comfortable moving beyond vanity metrics.

Reach matters.

Engagement matters.

Followers matter.

But they are not enough.

The bigger question is:

Are the people who matter talking about Employment Hero and the ideas we are putting into the world?

What You Will Do

In practical terms, you will be responsible for building and operating a sophisticated global publishing and content function.

Your responsibilities will include:

Founder Publishing

  • Develop and maintain a consistent publishing strategy for the CEO across X, LinkedIn, video, and podcast channels.

  • Establish editorial calendars and publishing rhythms.

  • Identify opportunities for reactive publishing around breaking developments, industry trends, product launches, and employment data.

Editorial and Newsroom

  • Own the strategic direction of Employment Hero’s newsroom.
  • Build a high-frequency publishing model based on relevance, insight, data, and speed.
  • Establish strong editorial standards and quality controls.
  • Develop stories from proprietary employment data, customer insights, product developments, research, and market trends.
  • Create editorial processes that allow the team to respond quickly without sacrificing accuracy or quality.
  • Build relationships between editorial, marketing, product, data, communications, and leadership teams.

Social and New Media

  • Develop strategies for X, LinkedIn, and other relevant emerging platforms.
  • Stay deeply informed about platform behaviour, algorithms, formats, audience expectations, and distribution mechanics.
  • Understand what makes content travel organically.
  • Build a “publish, don’t pitch” operating philosophy.
  • Create content that participates in conversations rather than simply promoting company announcements.
  • Experiment continuously with formats, voices, hooks, narratives, and distribution strategies.
  • Use performance data to continuously improve the publishing model.

Video and Podcast

  • Lead the development of video and podcast content as integral components of the broader publishing strategy.
  • Create formats that can translate complex ideas about AI, employment, business, and technology into accessible and engaging stories.
  • Develop repeatable production processes that support high-frequency output.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose editorial and social insights into video and audio formats.
  • Ensure video and podcast content remains aligned with the overarching Employment Hero narrative.

Product and Data Storytelling

  • Partner with product, data, research, and commercial teams to identify stories.
  • Translate technical product developments into compelling human and business narratives.
  • Identify trends in proprietary employment data.
  • Turn data points into clear, provocative, evidence-based stories.
  • Develop rapid-response mechanisms for significant data releases.
  • Ensure content is grounded in credible evidence and differentiated from generic industry commentary.

Movement Marketing

  • Design and execute global movement marketing initiatives.
  • Develop narratives capable of generating genuine participation and organic amplification.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across marketing, communications, social, creative, product, and regional markets.
  • Develop campaigns that extend beyond traditional paid media.
  • Identify influential communities, creators, leaders, and organisations that can contribute to broader movements.
  • Work with regional teams to adapt global narratives to local audiences.
  • Measure momentum and narrative penetration throughout each initiative.

Leadership and Operations

  • Lead and develop the newsroom, social, content production, and related teams.
  • Establish clear priorities and shared objectives.

  • Maintain a high editorial and creative standard.
  • Balance speed with accuracy and quality.
  • Create an environment built around ownership, experimentation, learning, and high performance.

Measurement and Optimisation

  • Establish the key performance indicators for the global publishing operation.
  • Own narrative penetration and share of voice in partnership with External Affairs.
  • Analyse content performance and audience behaviour.
  • Identify patterns and insights that can improve future publishing.
  • Build regular reporting for senior leadership.
  • Use data to inform editorial decisions rather than relying solely on intuition.
  • Continuously test new channels, formats, creative approaches, and distribution strategies.

Who You Are

We are looking for an experienced marketing and publishing leader who understands that the modern media environment has fundamentally changed.

You are not simply a content marketer.

You are not simply a communications professional.

You are a builder.

You know how to create a system that consistently produces ideas, stories, conversations, and influence.

You understand the relationship between a strong narrative and effective distribution.

You know that great content without distribution can disappear, while strong distribution without a meaningful idea rarely creates lasting authority.

You are able to operate at both strategic and executional levels.

You can define the five-year ambition for a global publishing function in the morning and work with a producer on a script in the afternoon.

You are comfortable moving quickly.

You are comfortable with ambiguity.

You are comfortable being accountable for outcomes.

And you have a strong instinct for what people will care about.

Experience and Capabilities

You will ideally bring:

Significant Leadership Experience

  • At least 12 years of experience across content, publishing, social, campaigns, marketing, communications, editorial, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading teams in high-growth, fast-moving, technology-driven, or challenger organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new capabilities, teams, processes, and operating models from the ground up.
  • Experience managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing contributes to business growth.

Founder and Executive Profile Building

  • A proven track record of developing an executive or founder profile.
  • Deep understanding of X and LinkedIn as platforms for thought leadership and influence.
  • Experience developing executive content that feels authentic rather than corporate or overly polished.
  • Experience with podcasts, video, interviews, and other executive-led formats.
  • Strong instincts for turning an individual’s perspective into a distinctive public voice.
  • Ability to work closely with senior executives and extract meaningful ideas from conversations.

Social and New Media Expertise

  • Deep understanding of modern social platforms and how their algorithms and communities operate.
  • Strong knowledge of content formats, audience behaviour, and organic distribution.
  • Experience operating within a “publish, don’t pitch” model.
  • Ability to understand why particular ideas spread while others do not.
  • Willingness to experiment continuously with new formats, platforms, and approaches.
  • Strong understanding of the difference between traditional PR and modern social publishing.

Editorial and Production Experience

  • Strong experience across editorial, video, podcasting, social, or multimedia production.
  • Demonstrated ability to create content at speed without compromising quality.
  • Experience turning data, research, product developments, or complex concepts into compelling stories.
  • Strong editorial judgment.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling capability.
  • Ability to simplify complicated subjects without losing substance.
  • Experience building repeatable production processes rather than relying on one-off hero projects.

Movement and Campaign Marketing

  • Experience developing and executing movement marketing, groundswell campaigns, or large-scale integrated campaigns.
  • Understanding of how narratives can create participation and organic momentum.
  • Experience coordinating owned, earned, and shared channels.
  • Ability to work effectively with communications and regional execution teams.
  • Experience identifying cultural moments and turning them into opportunities for meaningful brand participation.

Strategic Thinking

You are a first-principles thinker.

You do not simply replicate what other companies are doing.

You ask why.

You challenge assumptions.

You identify the underlying problem and design the simplest effective system to solve it.

You are comfortable building capabilities where there is no existing playbook.

You can distinguish between activity and impact.

You understand that the role of modern marketing is increasingly to create relevance, authority, and cultural influence rather than simply produce campaigns.

Your Working Style

The person who succeeds in this role will likely be someone who is:

Highly curious. You naturally want to understand what is happening in technology, AI, employment, media, business, culture, and society.

Fast-moving. You do not wait for perfect conditions before taking action. You know when to move with imperfect information and when deeper analysis is required.

Opinionated but evidence-led. You are comfortable having a strong point of view, but you also know how to use data to challenge and improve your assumptions.

A strong communicator. You can write clearly, speak persuasively, and communicate complex ideas in ways that make people care.

An operator. You can turn strategy into systems, processes, calendars, briefs, deadlines, and measurable outcomes.

A builder. You enjoy creating something that did not previously exist.

A leader. You know how to attract, develop, motivate, and challenge high-performing people.

Experiment-driven. You understand that modern publishing requires constant testing and learning.

Comfortable with ambiguity. You can make progress even when the answer is not obvious.

Focused on impact. You care less about looking busy and more about whether the work is actually changing something.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be visible in the market.

Within the organisation, you will have built a high-performing global publishing machine with clear ownership, efficient workflows, strong editorial standards, and a consistent operating rhythm.

Externally, Employment Hero’s voice will become increasingly prominent in conversations around AI, employment, workforce transformation, productivity, and the future of work.

The CEO will have a distinctive and highly recognisable public voice.

Our proprietary employment data will regularly become part of broader industry conversations.

Our product developments will create stories rather than simply announcements.

Our newsroom will operate with the pace and relevance of a modern media organisation.

Our social channels will actively participate in important conversations.

Our video and podcast content will extend our ideas into new audiences.

Our campaigns will generate genuine participation and organic momentum.

Most importantly, Employment Hero will increasingly be recognised not just as a company that provides employment technology, but as a company that helps define where employment is going next.

What We Offer

At Employment Hero, we do not simply talk about creating a better way to work.

We live it.

We believe people do their best work when they are trusted, empowered, supported, and given the freedom to operate with genuine ownership.

Joining Employment Hero gives you the opportunity to work in an organisation that is ambitious about both its mission and its people.

Remote-First Work

You will join a remote-first organisation designed to give talented people the flexibility and autonomy they need to do their best work.

Rather than measuring contribution by physical presence, we focus on outcomes.

You will have the freedom to structure your work in a way that allows you to perform at your highest level while collaborating with colleagues across countries and time zones.

Real Ownership

At Employment Hero, we trust people to own their work.

You will have meaningful responsibility from day one.

You will be encouraged to make decisions, challenge existing approaches, experiment with new ideas, and take accountability for outcomes.

You will not simply execute someone else’s strategy.

You will help define it.

AI and Technology

You will work in an environment where AI is central to how we operate.

We provide access to modern AI tools and technologies that can help accelerate research, ideation, production, analysis, and execution.

More importantly, you will be surrounded by people who are actively exploring how AI can change the way businesses and individuals work.

For someone passionate about the future of media, marketing, technology, and employment, this creates an unusually rich environment for experimentation.

High-Performing Team

You will work alongside ambitious, capable, and highly motivated colleagues from around the world.

We believe high-performing teams make one another better.

You will be challenged to think differently, encouraged to experiment, supported when things do not work, and recognised when you deliver meaningful outcomes.

The expectation is high because the opportunity is high.

Employee Share Ownership

As part of Employment Hero, you will have the opportunity to own Employee Share Options (ESOP) in one of the world’s fastest-growing technology companies.

This means you can participate in the value you help create as Employment Hero continues to grow.

Comprehensive Benefits

We offer a broad benefits package designed to support you both professionally and personally.

Depending on your location and eligibility, benefits may include generous parental leave, subsidised egg freezing, home office support, and learning and development opportunities.

We want our people to have the resources they need to grow their careers while maintaining a sustainable and rewarding way of working.

Global Community

Although Employment Hero is remote first, we place a strong emphasis on building meaningful connections across our global organisation.

One of the highlights of our year is our Annual Global Gathering, which brings colleagues together from around the world.

We have previously celebrated together in locations including Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, and Dubai.

In September 2026, we are looking forward to bringing our global community together again in the Gold Coast, Australia.

These moments provide an opportunity to build relationships beyond screens, celebrate our achievements, share ideas, and strengthen the sense of community that connects Employment Heroes around the world.

Why This Opportunity Matters

The future of work is being rewritten.

Artificial intelligence is changing how businesses operate, how employees perform their roles, how teams are structured, and how productivity is measured.

The employment relationship is becoming increasingly digital.

Employees expect more flexibility, transparency, personalisation, and value from their employers.

Businesses are under pressure to become more efficient while simultaneously improving the employee experience.

Technology is accelerating all of these changes.

This creates a rare opportunity for Employment Hero.

We are not simply building software for today’s employment environment.

We are building technology for a world of work that is still being defined.

And because we operate across a large and diverse employment ecosystem, we have a unique perspective on what is changing.

The person in this role will have the opportunity to turn that perspective into a global narrative.

You will help define the conversations that Employment Hero participates in.

You will help determine which ideas we champion.

You will build the systems that transform expertise and data into influence.

You will work directly with one of the company’s most important voices.

And you will have the opportunity to build a global publishing and movement marketing capability from the ground up.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than manage a content calendar.

It is for someone who wants to build a media engine, establish category authority, create movements, and influence how the world thinks about AI and employment.

Privacy and AI Notices

As an AI-first organisation, Employment Hero uses technology and AI-enabled tools as part of our commitment to creating a modern, efficient, and consistent hiring experience.

AI tools may be used to assist with reviewing applications and supporting aspects of the interview and recruitment process.

These tools are designed to help our teams manage applications efficiently, identify relevant experience, reduce administrative noise, and provide a consistent experience for candidates.

However, technology does not replace human judgment.

AI-supported processes are intended to assist our recruitment teams, not make final hiring decisions independently. The ultimate decision regarding your application remains with our people and hiring team.

As part of our recruitment process, Employment Hero may also verify candidate identity and location.

We take the privacy and security of candidate information seriously.

Any information you provide as part of your application will be handled in accordance with our applicable privacy requirements and Applicant Privacy Policy.

By applying for this role, you acknowledge the terms of Employment Hero’s Applicant Privacy Policy, which provides further information about how candidate information is collected, used, stored, and managed.

Join Employment Hero

Employment Hero is building more than an employment software platform.

We are building an Employment Operating System for a rapidly changing world of work.

We are growing globally.

We are investing heavily in AI.

We have access to unique employment data.

We have a strong and increasingly influential founder voice.

And we have an opportunity to shape the conversation around one of the most important transformations of our generation.

This role sits directly at the centre of that opportunity.

You will build the publishing machine around our CEO.

You will lead the content engine across newsroom, social, video, and podcast.

You will turn data and product developments into stories that matter.

You will create campaigns that generate genuine movement.

You will lead talented teams and build scalable production systems.

And you will measure success not by how much content we produce, but by how much influence we create.

If you are excited by the opportunity to build something ambitious from the ground up, operate at the intersection of AI, employment, technology, media, and culture, and help establish Employment Hero as one of the defining voices in the future-of-work conversation, this could be the opportunity for you.

The future of employment is being built now.

Help us tell the story, shape the conversation, and lead the movement.
