What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for people who are reliable, motivated and enjoy practical, hands-on work.

Ideally, you will have:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with machinery.
• The ability to undertake physical work in a manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A strong focus on workplace safety.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (including Excel).
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.

Previous experience in manufacturing, production or machine operation will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Forklift experience or a Certificate II in Process Manufacturing would be advantageous but is not required.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you will play an important role in manufacturing quality carpets supplied across Australia and New Zealand.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring production machinery.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Recording production information using our systems.
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks where appropriately licensed and trained.
• Conducting quality checks and inspections.
• Participating in training and cross-training.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
