We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced Casual Gaming Attendant to join the team at the Birkenhead Tavern.

The Role

You will help create a welcoming and responsible gaming experience for our guests while supporting the broader tavern team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and attentive service in the gaming room;
• Assisting guests with gaming machines and loyalty programs;
• Processing payouts and handling cash accurately;
• Monitoring the gaming room and following responsible gambling practices;
• Following all legislative, compliance and venue procedures;
• Keeping the gaming room clean and well presented;
• Restocking refreshments and completing general gaming room duties; and
• Supporting bar and tavern operations when required.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Current RSA and relevant South Australian gaming qualifications;
• Previous gaming experience, preferably in a hotel or tavern;
• An RP Badge, which is advantageous;
• Strong customer service and communication skills;
• Confidence handling cash and gaming transactions;
• A sound understanding of responsible gambling requirements;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
