Cafe Vicini is looking for friendly, energetic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy café environment, providing warm and efficient service, and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant at Cafe Vicini, you will be responsible for delivering friendly and professional service across the café.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately
  • Providing attentive table and counter service
  • Serving coffee, food and beverages efficiently
  • Maintaining good knowledge of the menu, daily specials and beverage options
  • Assisting guests with menu selections and dietary enquiries
  • Communicating dietary requirements and special requests clearly
  • Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
  • Processing bills and payments accurately
  • Assisting with takeaway and dine-in orders
  • Supporting baristas and other team members during busy periods
  • Working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café and service areas
  • Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous café, restaurant or hospitality experience
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills
  • Has a friendly, positive and professional attitude
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Is reliable, punctual and well presented
  • Has good attention to detail
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Is comfortable handling multiple tasks during busy service periods
  • Is available to work mornings, weekends and public holidays as required

Previous barista or coffee experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Requirements

  • Valid NSW RSA Certificate where required
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
