Curiosity Tree Early Education is looking for enthusiastic and capable Assistant Centre Managers to support the day-to-day leadership of our centres. Working closely with the Centre Manager, you’ll help lead a vibrant team, support centre operations, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. You’ll be a key role model — bringing positivity, organisation, and strong communication to keep things running smoothly.

• A confident communicator and supportive leader who enjoys being hands-on

• Initiative, reliability, and a genuine passion for early childhood education

• The ability to guide others with kindness and clarity

 

🎓  What You Bring

• Diploma or ECT qualification (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)

• Experience as a 2IC, Room Leader, Educational Leader, or similar role (leadership experience preferred)

• Good understanding of the National Quality Framework and Regulations

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities

• A team-first mindset and a passion for building a positive culture

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid/CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to update)

 

💚  What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the Centre Manager with daily operations, compliance, and centre leadership

• Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver high-quality practice aligned with the EYLF and NQF

• Building warm, professional relationships with families and contributing to enrolment growth

• Assisting with rostering, staffing support, and smooth daily routines

• Contributing to the QIP, programming support, and assessment & rating readiness

• Supporting a safe, welcoming environment that prioritises child wellbeing

• Stepping into the Centre Manager role when required (leave/absence coverage)
