At Crowne Plaza Sydney Airport, we’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Handyperson to join our in-house team.

If you’re practical, enjoy fixing things and take pride in keeping a hotel looking and operating at its best, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• Complete general repairs and maintenance throughout the hotel
• Attend to maintenance requests from our guests and hotel departments
• Carry out basic repairs including painting, patching, grouting, silicone and minor plumbing
• Assist with furniture, lighting, air-conditioning filters, doors and other hotel equipment
• Complete regular preventative maintenance checks
• Assist with hotel refurbishment and improvement projects
• Keep maintenance areas and equipment safe and well maintained
• Support the team with other maintenance tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

• Some previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, facilities or a similar hands-on role (hotel environment preferred)
• Limited experience is welcome – training and support will be provided
• A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Previous hotel or commercial maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential
• Relevant trade experience or qualifications are highly regarded
• Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
