The role

CCSG operates across Insurance, Asset Finance and Banking and Finance sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and maintain our organisation’s Integrated Management System (IMS) in line with ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO27001 Information Security standards. Based in Hurstville, NSW, with plans to relocate to a new city office, this role offers a chance to be part of a growing, forward-thinking business.

As our Quality and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in drafting policies, documenting processes, conducting internal audits, managing complaints, investigating incidents and monitoring compliance. You’ll work closely with business units to uphold quality standards, manage risk and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

We work on a hybrid working model (3 days in the office and 2 days at home).

Responsibilities

Here’s an example of your day to day:

  • Support the maintenance and improvement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO 27001);
  • Draft, review, and maintain policies and processes for compliance and effectiveness;
  • Coordinate document control and contribute to system improvement initiatives;
  • Monitor and help resolve non-conformances and corrective actions;
  • Assist with compliance to laws, regulations, and internal policies;
  • Track regulatory changes and update relevant documentation;
  • Maintain registers for complaints, incidents, breaches, and contracts;
  • Assist with audits by preparing evidence and conducting internal reviews;
  • Support training sessions, inductions, and compliance briefings;
  • Collaborate with teams to promote quality and compliance awareness;
  • Provide project support to the Quality & Compliance Manager.

Requirements

Culture fit is key and we value both experience and qualities such as:

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, audit, or quality assurance support role;
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards;
  • Understanding of industry codes and regulations including the ASIC/ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines, General Insurance Code of Practice, RG271 Internal Dispute Resolution, National Credit Code and Privacy Laws;
  • Familiarity with debt collection and legal services regulatory requirements;
  • Skilled in maintaining documentation, registers, and audit records;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy in reporting and documentation;
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication;
  • Collaborative team player;
  • Ability to support training and awareness initiatives;
  • Problem-solving mindset with risk identification and escalation skills;
  • Self-motivated with initiative to take ownership of tasks.
