Administrative Assistant to the Managing Director

📍 Contemporary Plumbing Services – Canberra & Queanbeyan

We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-driven Administrative Assistant to support our Managing Director.

This is a key role within the business — not just admin. You’ll be responsible for keeping operations running smoothly, ensuring financial visibility, and maintaining high standards across our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Job Management

  • Review job files for accurate notes, photos, and documentation
  • Manage purchase orders and job-related admin
  • Monitor and log incoming calls within our system

Financial & Performance Reporting

  • Track invoicing targets and job performance
  • Monitor gross profit across jobs and identify discrepancies
  • Prepare reports on revenue and GP across job types and business units

Systems & Administration

  • Maintain price book and pricing files
  • Manage asset and equipment registers
  • Support invoicing accuracy and task reporting

Project & Marketing Support

  • Assist with kitchen and bathroom project administration
  • Support social media coordination and content scheduling

Team & Office Coordination

  • Organise weekly team catch-ups
  • Maintain office supplies and a well-run workspace

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with numbers, reports, and systems
  • Proactive, reliable, and takes ownership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with job management systems
