Female Disability Support Workers – URGENT START!
We are seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to support a female NDIS participant with complex mental health and psychosocial support needs.
This role requires a compassionate, reliable and emotionally mature worker who can provide
person-centred, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented support while maintaining professional boundaries and promoting the participant’s rights, choice, dignity and independence.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing one-to-one support in the participant’s home and community.
- Supporting daily routines, appointments and household activities.
- Assisting with community access and social participation.
- Providing reassurance and emotional support during periods of distress.
- Following individualised support and behaviour support plans.
- Identifying and appropriately responding to changes in presentation.
- Maintaining clear professional boundaries.
- Completing progress notes and incident documentation.
- Communicating effectively with the participant’s support team.
Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience.
- Working with Children Check where applicable.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
