Description

We are looking for an energetic Unified Communications Technician to play a vital role in our business to support, manage, develop our Managed Services and Solutions.

You will play a vital role in our business and take the complexity out of the technology decision making for our customers and bring a positive impact to their business.

Qualifications & experience

  • Knowledge and Experience with IP Systems( on premise and Hosted), SIP trunks, Networks and Firewalls
  • Knowledge and Experience on Microsoft Teams calling and Microsoft Licensing
  • Strong verbal communication skills – able to deal with all types of clients across various industries
  • Able to work effectively either autonomously or as part of a team
  • Attention to detail is required, including the ability to correctly & thoroughly complete documentation
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Open Drivers License (current)

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Data collection & pre-configuration of client requirements
  • Installation & configuration of telephone systems( hosted and on premise) network equipment and firewalls
  • Remote and on-site support to existing clients’ communications networks including end-user training
  • Liaise and escalate faults with vendors, upstream providers and ISPs
  • Work closely with other staff in the Technical and Service Delivery Team
