We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in providing support and care to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and recreational activities
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor resident progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to supervisory staff
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all residents
- Assist residents in developing independent living skills
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in human services or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be female due to client choice.
Schedule 11 39.5 hrs and 2 sleepovers a fortnight
