About the Client

Our client is a registered NDIS, TAC and WorkSafe provider delivering holistic disability support across home care, residential, respite and community settings. Their focus is on person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life.

About the Role

We are building dedicated support teams for participants across the Geelong. These are permanent part-time positions for support workers who value consistency, structure and being part of a regular team.

The aim is to establish a core, stable and predictable workforce around each participant, supporting continuity of care and allowing workers to develop strong, respectful working relationships with the people they support.

Shifts may include mornings, evenings, sleepovers and active nights, depending on participant and service requirements.

You will work as part of a regular team to support participants with their daily routines, personal care, community access and household needs while contributing to a stable and respectful home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful and dignified personal care
  • Support daily routines consistently and in accordance with individual support plans
  • Assist with meals and household tasks
  • Support community access, appointments and activities
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation
  • Communicate effectively with participants, families and team members
  • Work collaboratively as part of a consistent support team
  • Promote continuity of care and a safe, respectful household environment

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in disability support
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or a similar relevant qualification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
  • Working with Children Check – Employee
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Infection Control training
